Hey everyone.  Wondering if i could rip out the 302 V-8 from my bronco and put in a GM 350, also was going to rip out the trans and put in a TH400 Turbo to beef it up.  Originally a GM guy but the bronco is a beater is being transformed to my 4x4 beast.  Is this at all possible?  Also would like to see if i could keep the original axels and driveshafts.

contact www.advanceadapters.com

these guys have the kit for the swap, as for the axles, depending on the configuration, it is possible with special; u jooints or cut and weld two driveshafts together and have them balanced (VERY< VERY imprtant)

Pretty sure that the pre-88 GM (passenger ) and Ford (drivers' side) Xfer case outputs are on opposite sides. So that might cause some adapter problems with TH400 to Xfercase to axle problems, depending on what axles you go with.

Unless you are really stuck on the ol' Bronco, for the amount of money you'll spend on adapters alone, you'd be better off selling the Bronco and finding a 73-87 Beater K-5 Blazer.

Besides that, you are suggesting vehicle heresy, swapping perfectly good GM parts into a blue oval. Swapping a Chevy into Jeep is one thing, but into a Ford?
