I have a 90 bronco II with a 5 speed and a 2.9 4wd and I have a 94 explorer 4.0 auto 2 wd No. 1 will they bolt up 4.0 to 5 speed ?? The explorer is complete execpt the nose is gone so I have plenty of parts I also own 6 bronco IIs I beleave the mounts and all are the same. No. 2 is there any preformance pireces for the 4.0 Injectors, throtle body, mass airflow sencors ???? also is the fuel pressure in these two trucks the same or do I need an adjustable pressure reg Any info at all will be great I've been spinning wrenches for30 years I have no money in any of the trucks also I,m putting a 460 in a two wheel drive ranger any good Idears for balest in the back becides a bed full of concrete summers comming

o not think the 2.9 will bolt up to the 4.0 without help try www.advancedadapters.com they will be able to help you with the whole conversion

I put a 4.0 in my 88 Bronco 11-bolt in but you must use the right computor-I also changed the cam-throttlebody and exhaust-My moter came out of a pre-run truck and runs like a rocket compared to the 2.9 I did not change fuel pump-bell housing to motor is the same.
