im not sure but ive been thinking about doing my suzuki samuari ever since i got it. i know its harder on everything else but the tracker pinions kinda suck mainly from what i hear.

anyone put a 2nd case in a suzuki here? i know its been done a ton of times but i never talked to them

also i have a parts samuari coming for free so theres the other case, and there is a set of tracker axles (automatic tranny) for 150-200 down the street.

this is a trail driven truck only, and i have 31inch bigfoots. i want to keep the same size tire, or keep under 33s.

and im putting a rear locker in before paragon this summer, maybe a front with bairfield rings too.

I dont know if I would put a second t-case in a sammy. I know that they sell deeper gears for the t-case which would probably be my choice.

yeah i really havnt looked into that alot yet, i hate buying stuff like that. everyone says there better then the next and i wouldnt know who to trust

i think im going to to the duel cases because the only thing that its hard on would be the driveshafts and ujoints, ill upgrade them for cheap and be able to select when i want deep gears and when i dont

but i will look into the gearsets also

and dana 44s with 5.56s would be awesome, but also heavy and ide need to get 33s to get the same ground clearance

skblazer,

Changing the ring and pinion gears will effect overall gearing and driveability one ratio only, whereas the lower gear ratios in one or more xfer cases will give you more options, since sammy xfer cases are the divorced type, it would seem to be as easy as mounting a second  xfer case behind the first one but it's not that easy... due to the short wheelbase I think you'll run out of room the pretty quick! The rear driveshaft would be way too short and the front would be way too long... good luck swapping in a second xfer case!

i knew the case was divorced, thats the only reason i concedered doing it. the case is about 9-12 inches away from the tranny, i might be able to keep the same length driveshafts if i get rid of the input shaft (allmost the length of the case)
