How do you repair a whole in the floor pan without replacing or removing it?

Clean the area around the hole to remove as much of the rotted metal as possible.  When you see how large of a hole you need to fix, cut a much larger section of sheetmetal(about the size of the particular section of floor, and weld it from the bottom.  Be sure to grind the bottom area to get a good weld, then cut a smaller piece just bigger than the hole and weld it on the inside over the hole.  this will make let it regain its structural integrity.
