Thought it would be cool to show some solid axle Rovers and do an article or two about them, there owners, and the Rovers in action on the rocks or mud, or whatever they're wheelin' on.
I own a 95' Range Rover Classic, LWB, and I have lifted it 2.5" and bigger than stock tires. I sent in a Readers Rides request about my truck. I am not afraid to wheel my truck, and I think it is rather different than taking an American truck and lifting it and such, not that I wouldn't want a second gen. 2500 Ram Cummins.  I am still in the process of building my Rover.
I think it would be great to feature a Rover or two in 4Wheel and Off Road.

Here are some pics I dug up from a trip to central Colorado with a Land Rover group. It was nothing but pure wheelin' at various trails around the area of Dillon and Keystone, CO. My Rover didn't fair enough to make it to some of the trails but I did my share of wheelin'. I didn't make the 1000 mile drive from Michigan for nothing.
This trip consisted of Discovery and Range Rover Classic trucks, and we tackled some very crazy trails. Here are some pics:
And that is just a few of the many pics I and other friends I know have of what we really do to a Rover...we put these 4x4s through their paces!! Not into big rims and chrome. More like big tires and suspension systems.
