Hey, anyone know a good way to import a nissan navara (essentially a frontier, but with a 2.5l turbo diesel) it make about 30+ mpg, and as much torque as the 4.0 V6. It's about the only engine choice sold in europe, but not available in the states. Anyone have any ideas?

Depends on what state you live in. There are two big problems with foreign cars, emissions and crash safety. If the vehicle doesn't meet those standard they may not be allowed into the united states, or allowed to be registered once it is here.
But it all really depends on your states laws. You may be able to ship one in and register it in Montana but there would be no way at all to register it in California or New York.

Cool. any info on colorado? I know that i'd be ok on emmissions (they only require that in denver, but now other counties). But i wouldn't even have a clue where to find out more about crash safety. thanks-
