Any chance of P's 4 Wheel & Off-Road doing a Ford TTB build up? I've been waiting for an off-road rag to do a MAJOR buildup of a TTB for a while now. Something more than just the basic bolt on lift kit. Maybe something using these sweet fabricated Camburg front beams:
![]() Camburg Engineering TTB stuff I've seen some buildups using some basic bolt on lift kits and the like, but never a high fab TTB buildup(most people seem to do a solid axle conversion if they do any fabricating to a TTB). While it is an IFS, I think its more solid axle than IFS(for off-road use atleast).
So how about it?

That would be pretty cool!
Hopefully the bossman will like it and do something in the future!

Speaking of which, if you guys need one to play with let me know, as long as I get it back someday, I got nice little bone sock B2 for ya and I'm super local.

Stay tuned, I know Ali has a TTB Ranger and is supposed to be doing some stuff with it... not sure what yet... but I know he has something working..
Having a LT 4WD myself an older Ranger with the Camburg setup would definatly be sweet and very capable.

I definitely am looking forward to seeing some good stuff on this, too.
I agree, TTB-to-solid axle swaps continue to rage on with hardly anyone ever realizing what a TTB's potential really is. I merely substituted some Jeep Cherokee coils for the ridiculous TTB lift coils on the D35 in my Bronco II (along with extended shock mounts), and I can now easily forklift a tire 3 feet up before another wheel lifts (both from the front or rear). I'm running just the plain stock axle beams on mine, too.

i have a bronco 2 as well and was going to put a dana 50 TTB in it but the price was pretty steep and i ended up getting a 44 and amc 20 locked with highsteer and chromoly axles and a trussed rear with ladder bars and both locked for $200 more than the stock TTB and D50 rear, so i ended up doing a sas also. still wish ida stuck with the TTB though, and intend to build a nother rig with a one off TTB setup.

TTB defiantly has lots of potential. I’m looking into some affordable options as we speak and hope get a little TTB tech in the pages before too long.
