Ya I got one and I love it. It has a v8 and it can handle everything a full size can and more. I take it offroading all the time and I can get around great. I have gone further than my cousins chevy and my dads z71 can. So their worth it.

I have a 98' dakota sport that i just love. I live in wyoming and bought the truck to drive back and forth in the oil field. It does just great. I also grew up in moab, ut, so of course i have taken it there a few times and it dose just fine for being all stock. I have had only minor problems with mine, and i have 158k miles on it and it still goes just fine. so if you are looking at a first truck i would deffently get one.

There is ALOT more aftermarket support for the Ranger than there is for the Dakota... you'll be happy with it. Congrats!
