I wanna get my truck ready for exploring in deepish snow.
Downey limited slip or Det. trutrac might be good for traction?
Anyone got an opinion on a rear locker and limited slip front in snow? Any tips on snow bogging would be great, thanks. my truck is mostly stock minus:
LCE header and highflow cat
flowmaster
K&N filtercharger diff breathers tube bumpers
3" body lift
31" cooper discoverer STT's
Oh yeah, tire chains, shovel, highlift, straps...

be ready for anything to happen. i have tons of experience with snow wheeling, ( thats what i learned on) the truck will come out from underneath of you all of the sudden keep a steady throttle. from what you said you have listed you should do just fine in a light to medium snow. 6"-12" i had a 91 S-10 about 5 years ago when i lived in MI and i took it wheelin thru snow throughout the winter. i only changed the tires and they were cooper discovers also. you should do just fine with what you have on it right now, especially with tire chains. let me know if this helped you any. if not i have tons of experience in snow just let me know.
