I recently aquired a 2000 model 454 and 4l80e two wheel drive tranny. All of the wiring and computers are there. Whoevver pulled the motor and tranny, cut the wiring off at the firewall. My problems are three fold. Where do I find a wiring diagrahm for this swap. How to control the motor and tranny. Who makes the correct adapters to mate this tranny to a 241 or 243. I also contemplated running a divorced tranfer case, but am having a hard time locating one. Any help with these issues would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I do wiring and engine swaps, that year vortec is not a problem, sounds to me like you cut the portion going into the cab and wired to the black connector it to the ECM that is not a problem that wiring gets reworked anyway. It is onle the fuel control, data link and ignition feed.

I looked all over the net and can't find a wiring diagrahm. You say that the wiring running to the black ECM connector gets reworked. How do you mean? Since I do not have a wiring diagrahm, I don't know what the wires are and would like as much background as possible, before I get a diagrahm and start into this one. I guess I also need a fuel control and data link from a truck like the one that the engine came from?
