im lookin for a lift kit for my 2003 single cab step side Z-71 and i would like the best performing lift for my money but i cant seem to find an unbiased opinion on one. i would like to have either 4 or 6 inches of lift, probly just high enough to have fairly good ground clearance and suspension travel (although i hear the ifs doesnt get much anyways). also some companies have coilovers, is that really worth the money or is it just a whole lot of work and money without doin much good? i also want 35's and i was wonderin if anybody knows if ill have problems rubbing and stuff. any help is appreciated, thanks guys.

I have a 2002 silverado with an 8" fabtech lift and I love it. They did have to trim the front bumper for the 37" tires to fit but it still looks and preforms very nice. It has good travel and alot of clearance. I don't know about the coilovers.

I have a 97 crew cab with 6" pro comp suspension lift and it's been on there for 7 years now. The kit came with blocks for the rear and I get lots of axle wrap. It came with traction bars but they were thin and broke a lot. I finally made my own. All the bracketry on the front end is in good shape nothing ever bent or broke but I sure did go thru a lot of tie rod ends and idler arms and pitman arms. I run 35" mud terrains and you can count on hub bearings going out on you. But you'll get that just from IFS. After all these years truck still drives straight and I liked the product for the price.

save your money and get a solid axle conversion, much more reliable than IFS.
