I put a powertrax noslip in my '03 dakota 4x4. I got tired of the open diff. slipping in the rain or snow. I'm not building a rock crawler or drag truck...I just wanted some traction in the back. All I got was extreme wheel hop and less traction. Any thoughts, advice, experience?

So  you're saying that you installed the NoSlip and now get bad wheel hop and less traction?

What engine do you have? It sounds like you are mashing the gas and breaking the tires loose resulting in bad wheel hop and loss of traction... thats just my guess from the lack of info in your post...

I tried to give more info but, I can't seem to post it. All my efforts are lost. Stock truck, daily driver, 4X4 slt plus, 9.25 rear diff., 265r7016 tires, 4.7L, no mashing the gas, pretty much anything more than just off idle depending on the conditions.
