i have a question for anyone who knows...

i want to run 40" tires, and was wondering if 6 inch suspension 3 inch body would suffice.

i would go 8" suspension, but i dont want to have to get driveshaft work done.

i have seen a picture or 2 of trucks with 40" tires, 6susp/3body, and it looks like it works, but i wanna find out if anyone knows first hand.

Thanks, Dan.

It'll work, you will need to trim the inside corners of the fenders.

Minnor trimming and you wont have any clearance problems.

a good trim job on all 4 corners of the body will do just fine. make sure your wheels are the right size because you dont want your frt tires to rub on your frame turn to turn, kind of bone jarring when that happens
