This is in reference to the 2007 UAJK. I've been reading this mag for quite a while now and can easily say it is the best 4x4 mag out there.UA is something I look forward to every year and I have followed UA since it started and enjoyed reading about all the UA project trucks. Although this year I was a little dissapointed.I dont think that this project should be called the UAJK, but instead the UA Dodge Ram, or UA Power Wagon. Rubiwagon does not fit because if you think about it you guys really are wheeling a dodge ram pickup truck. Look at every tubed out project out there that still retains an original vehicle frame. Its always refered to as whatever it's drivetrain started life as.Stephen Watson may have nothing more than a green half of a fender on his once recognizable K-5, but it is still called a blazer. Clifton Slay doesn't call his bruiser a TJ although it recieved its styling cues from one. Im not saying that I care this much about the name, but what Im getting at is I would much rather have seen what it would take to get a team to get that cummins in the JK's frame. It may not have been stong enough from the factory, but that's the point right?Make it work. Because in the "big picture" when you really look at it, this years UA vehicle is nothing more than a well built Dodge Ram pickup that had a Jeep body thrown on it.You might as well have made a trar for this years UA vehicle. This year the only thing I can say for the creativity, and ingenuity put into the UA vehicle is, it was an incredible bodywork job, im not impressed with anything else.
