I'm short on cash and wanting to build a mudding pickup so i won't tear my other pickup up.  It has a 318, auto, 6 inch lift, 31x10.50's, and a whole lot of rust.  I wanna make this pickup look somewhat nice too.  I thought about putting Super swamper thornbird's on to sling mud but I need some advice. Any help would be good.

For mainly mud I would use Super Swamper Bogger's, thornbirds just will not be as good in the mud.  Tire size is your choice, but with 1/2 ton axles I would not exceed 35" tires.  Regear accordingly for tires.  Neetly trim fenders as needed for tire clearance.  As time goes on you will find you want more power so save up for engine upgrades down the line.
