Years ago I remember reading about an electric drive conversion being done on a old FJ40 Ive been searching the net and I cant find any info I dont remember what mag it was in but IT did exist!
Am I the only one that remembers or that saw it

no, I saw it to, wow, long time ago. Actually that may have been in popular mechanics?

this is kinda spendy and a hair off the subject.....
check this out for about 60mpg and a couple thousand ft lbs torque!
