A 91 S-10 Blazer ...... I once had a 89 S15 Jimmy (2-door) with the 4.3 but it was a stock daily driver for the wife, traded it on a 96 S-10 Blazer (4-door), but still a daily driver for the wife (should have bought that one instead of lease, gave it up).  I have always wanted to build a S-10 into a big solid front axle rig.  How big do you want to build it?  If you stick with the IFS a 4" suspension lift will alow room for 31" tires w/o fender cutting. Make sure to change gear ratio accordingly to bigger tires.  Any bigger tire than 31" you will need to cut sheet metal even if you add a 3" body lift to that.  Don't be affraid to trim the fenders.  Nice cut out flares are available if you have the 2 door, they never made any for the rear on a 4 door.  If I were building it I would do a solid front axle and full size 1/2t axles for up to 35" tires.

That one is a ZR2 and started taller than the other ones anyway, those came factory with 31".  The one in the picture has a 5" lift added to it.  Good picture though mudb8.
