I started rebuilding my Jeep 258, I got all the machining done and have basically everything ready to put back together. I wanted a little upgrade in power and just to mess around a little with the engine. I plan on getting headers later on but not right now and I have the original Carter 2-barrel carb on it. I also am going with original pistons and rods and most internals. I just didn't know if anyone had any suggestions on what sort of cam I sould go with. I want some power but I want it to idle pretty close to normal. I was looking on Summit and they have a lot of crane and comp cams but I don't know a whole lot about what I need as far as duration and things like that. Any help would be awesome, and if this thread was started somewhere else just let me know where I can find the answers...Thanks...Later on
