why are the lift kits so hard to find for a 2003 ranger 4x4? i was quoted about $3G to have one installed but is this a good price? i'm kinda new to the whole lifting and 4x4ing so i don't know a whole lot. are there any add ons that can help the performance as well?

I'm new also and I second the question. I have a 03 4x4 4.0L V6 and it looks like a suspension lift of any kind does not exist. What's the deal?

I found this web page with this lift. It's costly but looks good. I think this is the way i'm going to go. Gotta start saving my pennies tho

Superlift, RCD and Dixon Bros. Racing make lift/long travel kits for SLA (short/long arm rangers). I've run superlift and a bodylift and 35 " MTR's for two years w/o probs. I used to wheel a lot and it necessitated locker ( so I run a No-Slip in front and ECTED in the rear). Performance accessories body lift which run between $200 and $250 would probably be the cheapest way to lift/run bigger tires, outside of cranking the t-bars. If you want anything other than a mild offroad vehicle, you're going to have to cut out the IFS front and replace it with a straight front axle. D44 Jeep Wagoneer and Ford F150-350 axles D44-D60 axles can be swapped in, but the latter (F250 and F350, as well as the F150 axle after 77? will require shortening). I could go on and on, but I think you guys are looking for bolt on kits-to mild/moderate modification (while retaining the d35 front end). My recommendation for suspension lift would be RCD (which changes t-bars out for coils). It is costly, but from time to time you can find people selling them on E-Bay used. If you have any other questions, check out ranger-forums.com, therangerstation.com, or rangerpowersports.com. These sites are dedicated to rangers. Good luck

now i hate to break your heart but those dana 35 front ends can be lifted higher on the newer rangers i own one and have seen many with the ifs front ends lifted to the tits and they work fine but yes it will cost you ad arm and a leg because they order longer c.v. shafts to compensate for the lift as well as different a arms just like any newer f 150 or newer half ton pickup they all run c.v. shaft front ends
