I got tired of all the guys in my club building and evolving their rigs, so I got off my butt. After wheeling my 90 XJ one day and the front axle disconnect crapped out leaving me with a stripped out actuator, I decided rather than fix it I'd make it better. I replaced the Dana 30/35 with a high pinion 44 from a 79 Bronco and 9" from a late 70's pickup. Kept the radius arm setup for simplicity, and extended the arms with square tubing with a RE Superflex joint at the frame end. With the 3" coils in front and a set of Durango leaf packs out back I went to almost 6" of lift. Threw on a set of 33" TSL's I got from a friend, and I'm almost set. I'm currently working on the steering and track bar. Since I have no garage, and this is Northern Minnesota, progress is a little slow right now. It did get up to almost 38 degrees this last weekend though, so I did get a little more done. Anyways here's a shot of the rig before, with the 3" lift and 32's
