I went to the local autoparts store today for parts for my 80 stepside, driving my stock 2.5 97 TJ, the clerk got to talking and then showed me his TJ with a Blown 350 TH350 he said it was easy, so leaving without my parts I went to the net to start research.

I have a few options
1. I have 2 trans-ams sitting in my driveway for trade or parts
2. I have a running 80 stepside 350 4spd 6"lift 35"tires also Parts trade ect....

Plan
1. Trade the TA's for another good 350 with Tranny
using novak adapters to current np231 Then I don't hafta cannabalize my truck....
2. Stretch the Jeep Rear  mount it on the chevy frame.
Probably easiest and cheapest I have everything.
3. Canabalize the truck for parts and still have to buy adapters

Leaning towards getting rid of the ***

1. I've been looking at 6-8" lift-kits long arm type What do you all recommend, I wanna go 35-40" tires
2. Anyone into Trans Ams wanna trade ?
