Hey, i have a 90 GMC 1500. I cranked up the torsion bars and added an add-a-leaf, but now my idler arm is pushing up instead of sideways so you can move the passenger tire at least 2 inches each way. I've repalaced it but it started doing it again within two months. I've looked for a drop kit but can't find one, any help?

Put the torsion bars back to stock setting and use Moog steering parts.

1"-2" extra hieght that way will put constant strain on your steering parts. best way is to lift it properly and put new steering parts on, or else you'll be throwing money away changing out the idler arm.
you can lift these p-ups fairly cheap, under 1000.00 will get you up to 6" lift from rough country and like GM1TON said moog has pretty much the best aftermarket steering parts available
