I think that the magazine should have a story on the basics of 4 wheeling.  I myself am new to the sport and I think that there should be some sort of article explaining what to do in different situations or what to get to build your first 4x4.
There should be an article on different situations showing what you should do if you ever come across one.  Whats the trick to mudding, or rock crawling or whatever.  You could even make it with the guys at 4x4training.com with there classes, do an article on how there classes are and have an overview of a lesson or whatever it is they do there.
There should also be an article on what you should buy for your first 4x4.  You should have a top 5 or 10 upgrades that everyone should put on their first 4x4 truck or suv.  
I think that there should be a feature for basics of 4 wheeling with all articles like this filling that mag.  Dont leave beginers like this

An online series would be amazing on the website. Even if there isnt room in the magazine you could still do that
