Figured I'd drop our little group into the fray here. I'm Steve, pres. of the North Shore Wheelers. We're a trailriding club on the North Shore of Lake Superior. About half of our members reside along the north shore of the lake in Minnesota, the rest are scattered all over the state. Our primary goal is to have street-able rigs, so the owners of tube buggies and huge tired mud rigs really aren't all that attracted to us. For us driving to and from the trail is part of the adventure. But just because our rigs can be driven on the pavement don't think we take it easy in the dirt! Our meetings are held pretty loosely, so the best way to hook up with us is to either e-mail me directly at steve@nsw4x4.com or sign up on our forum at www.nsw4x4.com, keep an eye on the trailrides section, and just hook up with us when we're gettin' dirty. A bunch of us will be heading to Moab in about 3 months (yes, driving there and back!) so maybe we'll see some of ya there!

here's a couple samples. No pics of my own rig in action since it's been down for a full width axle swap for quite a while.

I am the Vice President of the North Shore Wheelers and our next official event will be taking place on May 17th 2008 at the Iron Range Off-Highway Vehicle Park in Gilbert MN. The park is open to the public that day with no permit required (normally $38.50 for 3 years). We will be guiding trail rides throughout the day and providing lunch. There are trails there for everything from a stock Subaru Wagon (we had one last year)to a fully built tube buggy. If you want more information please feel free to PM me or check out our clubs website www.nsw4x4.com.

Off topic, how come I can't see all the words in the posts?
