i am new to the toyota world,i have a1991 toyota 4x4 with a 22re the timing chain has to be replaced, i have it took apart but cant figure out how to get the oil pan off without removing the motor.can anyone help??

you should be able to gt to it from under the truck. it seems odd that you wouldn't be able to get to the bolts. if you have a skid plate, you'll have to remove it first....i'm just guessing, i've never dealt with toyotas

i can get to the bolts, its geting the pan off thats the prob.it hits the trans or the front dif. thanks for the reply..
