i'm curious to know if the oil pan off of a fuel inject 1987 K5 blazer with a 350 will fit a 1985 carburated 350, i'd imagine they are the same but i don't have it to look at and compare any helps appreciated

Hi I beleive that they are different because the dip sticks are on the opposite side they changed when they whent to fuel injection but not sure if it will still bolt on

The 1985 is still the two piece rear oil seal, the 1987 is the one piece rear oil seal.  I do believe that 1986 was the first year for the one piece rear oil seal.  Not a direct fit.  By the way, the small block Chevy went to passenger side dip sticks in 1980, 1979 and older had driver side dip stick.

That is correct,'85 & back are different pans from the '86 & forward years.The newer also have a 1 piece rubberlike oil pan seal.
