I have an older version of your truck that had a 3inch rugged trail body lift. It worked well for 31 inch tires but would rub the tires in a bump turn. Then I saved up some money and added the trailmaster 5 inch suspension lift and 35 inch tires. They will rub under rough manuvers, Eventhough the fenders are cut back. It's difficult to make a 3 inch lift because the rear axle is a (spring under axle mount). If you mount the springs on top of the rear axle, you get a 5 inch lift. I've seen a few s-10 sonoma's with 5 inch trailmaster lifts with 33's that work well.
