I'm looking to swap out my 360, 4 spd, dana 21 for a 5.8 (351w), c6, bw1356.  All of this will be going into a 1976 f100.  The 5.8 is injected, but I don't think I'm going to swap the injection over just yet( it's in pretty fough shape).  I've got the complete donor truck so I think I get alot parts to make this work.  Has any one ever done this swap and is it worth it?  

Took some prelimanary measurements and it looks like this thing could be a bolt in.  factory motor mount location and positioning look good and the tranny cross member looks pretty close too.  I'll mock it up in the morning, but it looks pretty good (miraculous for a ford)!!!  

Ok...so if anyone is interested.....the motor droped right into the existing 360 mounts and the crossmember location is good.  I'll have to do some work on the tranny tunnel to get the tranfer case up a little higher and to make the linkage work out, but so far it looks pretty good and straight forward.
