Hello, I have a 4" rancho truck with a 2" body lift. My question is I would like to add another 2" to my suspension. Do i need a new lift kit or could i just swap some stuff out up front and just add a leaf in the rear. Thanks for the help Chris

you should be able to certainly ask a tech at rancho for this question, but i know that with my 6 inch pro comp lift on my 86 ford, that in the instructions, the only differance in the front was that the coils were taller. Obviously you would have to still raise the back still. I had a 2.5 inch rough country lift on my 96 ford f150, and all that had was the front cross member brackets and the coils, so i think that the lifts all must be somewhat simular. I had a 1990 f150 2wd that i lifted 1.5 inches up front and put a add a leaf in the back 9 years ago, and up front i just put taller coils on, and i was able to have different excentrics put in and it aligned properly, and that pickup still has basically the same twin traction beam set up in front. One problem i had with my 6 inch pro comp lift was that i had to modify the right twin traction beam so the axle would clear when the suspension was at full down cycle~~when the pickup was on a hoist. Otherwise the axle would be still hitting the traction beem. Hope i helped you. You can buy the new coils at national spring but theyll run pbobably $350 or so, There is a inland truck parts in pierre sd that i could get the springs for around i think it was $150 for that old 2wd i had. They may be able to get you some cheaper.
