would a 11.50 wide tire fit on a stock 93ford ranger rim? ive currently got a 10.50 on there and i was wondering if i could fit a wider tire on before i bought the tires

That would be quite a stretch to squish a 11.50 on a 7.5 rim. The mininum rim width should be 8". You can always ask the tire dealer you plan to buy from.

It will be fine. I see 12.5's on 7" wheels all the time...
