staight axling 1997 f250

going to install a 1990 for f350 dana 60 front axle into a 1997 ford f250 powerstroke doner truck is complete can anyone think of anything i might need to get before hauling off donor truck taking everything from frame down off front end i.e. track bar and bracket, pitman arm,sway bar, and front end of course?

I did my 96 f250 but I used a 87 f350 axle. I went with this for the kingpin setup. I had completly rebuilt the 60 prior to doing the swap. all of the parts swap over as far as I know. I did aftermarket steering though. Make sure you have u bolts and center pins for the leafs if you are pulling the leafs apart to add a leaf or something. Always replace the u bolts after they have been used. For 40 bucks or so It could save you and your truck from a huge problem.

I'm doing a 1997 explorer. how are you handling the "ABS" braking system?

the rigs im working with only have rear abs. what front end are you going to use?

you must have done cross over high steer? I was just hoping the pitman arm and tie rods off the "90" would bolt right on "97 not super duty" steering box.
