ok, so i have found a pair of 8 lug jeep j20 axles. the front is a dana 44 and the rear is dana 60 with disc brakes from a dana 70 im told. i have been searching online for hours with no avail for some 15x10 rims that will fit these axles. am i on a wild goose chase?? if you would drop me a line at elyria_boy@yahoo.com it would be appreciated.

You very well may be on a wild goose chase! Is there a reason you want to run 15-inch wheels with these axles? Is it the jump in tire price? I would recommend looking around for some 16.5-inch wheels. The larger wheels will clear the calipers of your axle’s disc brakes better. If you find and use use a 15-inch wheel on these axles you may have to shave your calipers. This is something that can be done but we don’t recommend. Pro Comp sells economical 16.5-inch steel wheel with an 8-lug (8x6.5) pattern. www.procomptires.com/series51.htm

I hope this helps?

yes, thanks for the help. i just happened to find a deal on some tires and some axles and just trying to find hte best way to use them both. im on a budget and this is my first build, so i know there is going to be unforseen dificulties but i think with what i have read and what everyone has posted and sent that i should have it figured out.

I have a 78 jeep cherokee that I put a dana 60 and a 14 bolt in. I put 15 inct wheeles with 4 inch offset wheeles and miner grinding of the calpers. afterwards I found out that you dont have to use such an extreem offset but you will have to grind the calipers some more. good luck with your new axles.

Nationaly Tire and Wheel makes custom steel beadlocks in pretty much any size you want.  The brand is Eaton.  They have a website:  NTWonline or something like that, though it would probably be wiser to call them..
