As in... Spool rear Locker front? Or a locker and a spool in the same axle?
Alot of people run a set up like a spool in the rear and a selectable locker in the front.
Spool in the front is not a good idea.
Spool and locker both replace the carrier so they can not be used together, if that is what you are asking.

No, you cannot use both. Using a spool would override anything a locker would do. If you drive it on the street much I would say get the locker. If its almost or completely off road driven get the spool.

No, you cannot use both - I'm assuming you mean using both in the same axle. Using a spool would override anything a locker would do, if you could even install both together. If you drive it on the street much I would say get the locker. If its almost or completely off road driven get the spool.

Ok, if you go with a spool, both tires will turn at the exact same speed all the time. This makes it harder to turn on pavement because the inside tire wants to turn slower. This will cause extra tire wear, chirping and some handling issues on road. If this doesn't seem too bad then save the money and go with the spool. Lockers allow the outside tire to turn faster in a turn. For a locker, Detroits are always good and I've heard good things about the Aussie Locker.
