I have a 1989 S10 pick up 4.3 with a 3in body lift. I was wandering if I could crank the torsion bars for lift. I know it works real well with the toyota 4 runners but not sure if it would work well with a s10.has any one did this before or have any advice about this?
humvee, 7ton, and LVS tech- 8 years
1989 chevy S10 4.3
3in body lift

A torsion bar is a torsion bar, it will have the same positive and negative effects as it does on any other vehicle.

i cranked mine on my 1991 chevy blazer, 4.3. i got about an inch of lift out of it
