Hope this is in the right forum...anyways here's the skinny. Back in december me and my family were rear ended in the driver side rear bumper/receiver hitch area, then propelled head on into a 5 ton utility trailer in claude tx. We kept the jeep after it was considered totaled and decided to rebuild it, as it had such low milage, and a rebuilt transfer case. So here's the problem, the ECU got smacked purty hard, and crunched the connector closest to the driver side headlight, we found another harness and replaced the connector, the ecu itself hasa small ding in the aluminum casing, but doesn't look major.
With a new radiator in, and reconnecting the battery it will crank, but no spark that we can tell, the gauge lights come on, but the fuel gauge won't read the fuel level. Pressed in on the fuel rail valve (4.0L) and it has fuel that will squirt out. All over the net on forums it tells of a "inertia" switch for the fuel pump relay, the manual, has no such description of this. We have a used ECU on the way because our code reader says "not responding" when we hook it up, when before it would shoot out problem codes, such as "O2 sensor". Anyone have any ideas or a solution that would help? It's a 1998 Jeep cherokee XJ, 4.0L, 5 spd, 4x4. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Nevermind..checked the underhood fuses, seems in between the relays to the left and the uber large blade type fuses are a bunch of mini blade stlye fuses, one itty bitty 15amp fuse was blown, replaced that, and cherokee strated right up..guess that old saying..always check all the fuses....too bad i cant find just a fuse to get this 91 mitsubishi galant running after it starts an runs for 10 seconds before it dies again, lol. anyways better the jeep than the mitsu.
