Rocks-n-Roost Off Road club has started a petition for new and reopening of existing trails. Western Pa. has tons of woods with no legal trail for us to wheel on. We are hoping to change this. Please show your support for our sport by signing. The land in question is in Allegheny National Forest. ][url=http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/OpenPaJeepTrails/]

Look 4x4's are hard on land and disturb the quiet for those who do not want it. It is wrong to assume that it is a right to have these access areas forever. The conduct of many wheelers and their growth has made them unwelcome in a lot of areas and I am sure that they will loose even more ground as time goes on. Rather than trying to get something back they need to focus on being more civil with what they have and be better caretakers if they want to try to sway "trust" to open up old areas again.
