I just did a 6" Skyjacker lift on my 05 Chevy 2500 used aftermarket torsion keys from Truxxx and pulled 8" of lift out of the kit my front axles are at a pretty extreme angle and I think they are probably going to give me some problems any suggestions would be great I want to keep it 4 wheel drive and I would also like to keep the 8" of lift I have 38's on the truck now so I was just hoping someone new something that I didn't Thanks.

You need to reduce the angle on front axles. Keys look good on paper but not in practice because it top suspension out in travel and run CV's at a higher angle too. CV'a are their strongest torque capacity wise when at or near level/straight across joint. In you case, you have very large tires which are straining CV AND high angle too and together it can add up to axle failure.

I had a 6in lift with 35s and I wheeled it hard and i carried a extra axle shaft because i broke one about every 2 months your best bet is take the keys out or go solid front axle . I went solid axle and will never lift a IFS(inferior front suspension) again. If you keep it the way you got buy some high performance cv shafts but they will cost!!!
