I would build up a 6.5 before I would waste time boosting a 6.2. The 6.5 is a improved 6.2 with a stronger block and heads to handle some boost as well as a larger displacement.

The 6.5 is a improved 6.2 with a beefier block and stronger heads and it was designed to take a turbo boost. The 6.2 was not nor was it ever intended to be turbo charged. They also lower compression ratio a bit on 6.5 to better support boosting (6.2 was around 21.5 to one and 6.5 turbo was about 18 to 1)

just an update, the tires are sold. i also have a question about something other than a v8 powered 4x4 so please don't type some stupid message about your personal feelings about my choice of vehicle. when i turn the wheel quickly and sharply my dome light and other dash lights flash on. aslo my check engine light comes on and off every now and then and i have replaced both oxyegn sensors.
