well i'm getting ready to start work on my 84' runner, i'm hoping to have it done by the end of summer. i've got a pretty good idea about engines... probly going with the supra 7MGE. Now i'd like to get some advise for the suspension. I have heard that these straght axle toys have a narower rear end than the later models. should this be a major concern for me? i held out for an 84 for the primary reason that i wouldn't have to mess with the driveline, but i guess thats how it goes. also, it sounds like stock toy gears were 5.29 for the 22R, is that right? i'm just tryin to get an idea of how everything will work together. i'm not making a crawler, at least not yet but i'd like to have a decent off-road rig with crawler potential someday... advice?
