I have slippage in my hub somewhere i don't know if it is the stub axle or if its something in the hub splines but when i turn my wheel the u-joint behind it doesn't move. I am trying to remove the hub but cant get the ball joints (top and bottom) off in order to pull the hub and axle out. the nuts are removed but something still stuck, its way more than just rusted on there. any help would be appreciated.

You do not need to remove knuckle to get to stub shaft. There is about 6 bolts holding spindle to knuckle. Remove the nuts and then remove spindle. BTW, spindle is a snug fit and can be difficult to remove. In the past I have found that a small block of wood made from oak or such placed against spindle (to protect it) and then struck with a 3 or 4 pound sludge hammer will break it loose and you can then walk it out. If you use too soft of a wood, it will crush and not transfer energy well from hammer.
