I have a 1994 S-10 Blazer 4.3L V6.Auto Trans. I am only 15.My grandma just gave it to me, she bought it new. Its in very good condition. I want to turn it in to a mudder. I have been working since i was 13 so i have a little money to spend about $2000. I just want to know where i should start. I work on a lot of trucks at my local auto-shop so the technical part shouldn't be hard. I just really want to know the right stuff to buy wisely with my money. Much help appreciated

A solid front axle swap and lockers is were I would start. IFS is weak and if you try to play in the mud to much you will be replacing parts all the time. and lockers I cant stress enough how much they will help.
I would get the axle under it first.
Good luck and tread lightly

Lucky guy!look aat 4 wheel parts whole salers.com you can input the blazers info into the window, and it will tell you what parts fit it.luck to ya! i think if i had one i would stick a locker in back, put a little lift and agressive tires on the stock rims, and go play! or bush whacker co. has fender flairs that on some models, cut out and allow up to 3 inches clearance, that away you could spend more on the rims and mudders.I hope you have great times with the gift.one more thing,
4 wheel drive hardware has a jeep, catalog,i know, but they have factory dana 44's with lockers.they are 4 link ready.look around and see if ya get any ideas for axle swaps.happy wheelin!

idk about performance, but you need to watch you ignitoin, starter, and fuel systems, because i got off roading in my truck, same one as yours, and i had to replace mine, a couple of times.

also, get a heavy duty air cleaner, if dirt gets in your engine, you can be screwed, all you need to do is just get some bolt on performance, raise it up a little bit, and get mudders on you wheels and you should be good, what kinda of mud you going in?

aight to start put a MSD ignition coil and distributor cap, Bosch 4+ plugs and wires, a K&N filter or K&N cold air intake, and a Optima battery then do your exterior and driveline mods i'd go with a 3" body or as stated b4 bush whacker fender flares and then some 33's on stock wheels and a rear locker but make sure to do those engine mods first they will help with your gas mileage and power and i know being 15 u prolly need all the gas mileage u can get and believe me it will pay for itself good luck and if u need anymore help holla
