I have a 48 Willys pickup that and I want to upgrade the axles.  I was considering a Dana 30 for the front and a Dana 44 for the rear, I want a daily driver, I am planning on a 350 Chevy with a TH350 using my Spicer 18 transfer case with Warn OD. If anyone has suggestions for me I would appreciate them.

That doesn't really sound like an upgrade in axles.  What size tires do you plan to run?  I would recomend no smaller than a D44 on the front or rear.  If you are planning on bigger than 35" tires I would even suggest D60's.

I am in the same boat. Mine is a 59 and I want to run 35's I was thinking about a dana 44 front and and dana 60 rear. I thought I saw something on here that a scout or narrowtrack wagoneer dana 44 is the right width for the front about 58" and the fullsize jeeps rear will all work. I was planning getting the dana 60 out of a 3/4 ton j series truck. I'm not 100% sure about this so correct me if I'm wrong.
