hey everbody. I just wanted to know if gas prices affect everyone else like they do me? I know prices are higher in Cal. but the income seems higher to. I live in south east TN and i am going to school and I can't afford the gas to wheel ever weekend. What can we do about it?

Who really knows, I know how you feel. The gas prices have more than tripled since I started driving and my wage has stayed about the same. It seems to me the prices for everything is going up more and more every day and our wages will never catch up. Its a sad world we live in but atleast we have the freedom to choose the vehicles we drive and can go out wheelin' when we want. There is some countries that they don't have that. All I can say is that we can only do what we can and hopefully we can vote for someone that is against the high prices and will do something about it. I feel for you and those that are in your situation, it isn't fun.

When I started driving, gas was in 30's and went as low as 22 cents/gal in gas wars a few years later so for me, gas prices have increased about 15x. You need to except the fact that prices will never be low again and that they will be higher in future. When you build a rig you need to consider fuel efficiency if it is a daily driver when you plan your mods and if you want to get hard core, you need to have a cheap 4 cyl daily driver to run and save money to feed big hog on weekends. Money saved on fuel and ruber driving small cars will more than pay for it over time and big hog will last a lot longer too.
