I like dodge, but my Ant has a Dakota and Im always fixing something on it, and my buddy had a Ram that was always in the garage. The ram was a pain in the ass to work on and still didnt run how its suppose to.

When it comes to trucks FORD IS THE ULTIMATE, NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU FIX IT, IT WILL GET THE JOB DONE.

I'll have to disagree with you all. I think Ford is troublesome. But what works for one person, doesn't always work for another.

I was cleaning my rear window the other day and I fiqured I would remove the blue oval sticker that said ( At Ford Quality Is Job One ), I believe it didn't deserve to be on the back window.

I'm not too sure about the reliability of the newer Dodge pickups, but the old stuff is pretty much junk in my mind.

I have a friend that buys only older Dodge pickups and he is always pulling the engines and tranny's out to repair them. I would fiqure that he would change brands by now, but I guess he just likes wasting money.

This is my $ 0.02 on old Mopars.

I will admit I owned a dodge ram 4x4, for a long time, when I parted with it it had 200+K miles on it and still kicked butt, I still like my chevy off road better, and the ford I had broke frame after about 3 weeks of me owning it.

so my response is:

Chevy is good

Dodge is good

Ford is junk!

thats my 2 cents

hope you enjoyed it *smiles*

My Ford has well over 200,000 miles on it and still keeps on truckin. I have a Dodge Dakota also and it is a nice truck, I do like dodges, but the gas milage is worse than my ford and the Dodge has a v6.

Amen brother!!  Yo go tell it on the mountain!!

That sticker you pulled of the truck was a mis-print.  It should have read "At ferd quality is job Juan" - since their plants are down in Matamorros Mexico, dude! The people working at these plants live in shanty towns near the plant since they can't afford anything more. The day they can afford a beater to get them to work & back ( ferd or otherwise) they figured they done died and went to ferd heaven!

I can't say much about Dodge trucks cause I don't know much about 'em and none of my friends have one. I had a friend with an old Power Wagon though, and it kicked #ss! It was a tough old war horse. I don't think the quality on the new ones compares.

I think the new Dodge theme is also a mis-print. It should read "grab life by the horn" ....when ya git stuck in da mud, ya have to sort of 'lean on the horn' to get someone's attention so they can yank you, and your Dodge out!

It doesnt matter if Fords are built in Mexico, There designed Here in the U.S.A. Same thing with dodge and chevy, all are made over seas but are designed here. Not even corvettes are made here.

I know, I'm just bustin a little on folks here. I've been away from the battle for a while. wayyyy too much work lately.

It's all foreign now, don't matter what it is. The new GTO's are an Australian designed car originally, I have heard. It's funny how the "heartbeat of American muscle cars" now comes from Australia, Mexico or Canada. It's like all these foreign car dealers putting American flags everywhere you look at the dealership. The American flag that so many have died for over the years has geen reduced to a 'sales gimmick' like clowns & hot dogs. Makes me sick! I know, I'm old school. - Nafda's #1 now!

your wright man, its sad that its true, people fight and die for us, and  all jobs move over seas. thats just sad. Im not blaming the president although hes not doing very well at all, but this was happening before him, its just worse now.

It's all politicians. Nothin to do with party affiliation. Most of 'em havent served a single day in uniform, but they have no problem at all sending our boys over to die for a BS cause. I support the military 100%. I served overseas myself. I just don't support the reasons they are fighting and dying over there. ( big oil for the fat cats ). They don't even have the common decency to sigh a condolence letter to someone who has lost a loved one over there. They use some machine to to sighn the letter of condolence! "To those who have given the last full measure of devotion for their country" - As Abe Lincoln put it at Gettisburg.

I think our so-called President should be over there fighting too, since he's the one that sent our troops over there in the first place along with all of the other politicions. Our American Boys shouldn't be over there in the first place!! All of this dying for a BS cause.

I and so many others would agree with you, Redbeast.
