I have a 1994 S-10 Blazer 4.3L V6.Auto Trans. I am only 15.My grandma just gave it to me, she bought it new. Its in very good condition. I want to turn it in to a mudder. I have been working since i was 13 so i have a little money to spend about $2000. I just want to know where i should start. I work on a lot of trucks at my local auto-shop so the technical part shouldn't be hard. I just really want to know the right stuff to buy wisely with my money. Much help appreciated

A solid front axle swap and lockers is were I would start. IFS is weak and if you try to play in the mud to much you will be replacing parts all the time. and lockers I cant stress enough how much they will help. I would get the axle under it first. Good luck and tread lightly

Lucky guy!look aat 4 wheel parts whole salers.com you can input the blazers info into the window, and it will tell you what parts fit it.luck to ya! i think if i had one i would stick a locker in back, put a little lift and agressive tires on the stock rims, and go play! or bush whacker co. has fender flairs that on some models, cut out and allow up to 3 inches clearance, that away you could spend more on the rims and mudders.I hope you have great times with the gift.one more thing, 4 wheel drive hardware has a jeep, catalog,i know, but they have factory dana 44's with lockers.they are 4 link ready.look around and see if ya get any ideas for axle swaps.happy wheelin!
