What do you off road? And what do think is the best to off road a small truck like a s15 or toyota ,or full size truck?

Offroading with a s-15 Toyota Truck is Ex$pen$ive. Little trucks are fun as hell though. If you lived where I live in utah you'd be in Moab and doing sand dunes all the time though. With my Bronco 4x4in' is easy and I love to mud. Go try it in the sand!

Go with the Toy for there are lots of upgades available plus the dag things just won't die.

I use a full size truck to get around off-road and it gets around great but i dont do any "hard core" off roading with it. But with a smaller truck or a jeep you are less likely to do body damage because they can fit in more narrow spaces and go through a lot of crap because the wheel bases are shorter also.

I have a 98 dodge ram 2500 v10 with 10 in of lift on 41in irocks with e-lockers front and rear and 5.13 gears and its the best truck i've ever owned bar none i drive it to work every day and wheel on the weekeds and i'm in heven
1 i can fit more freinds when i wheel
2 its got ten times the power of a s10 or a toy
plus it looks better

I use a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer ZR2. The ZR2's come with 31's and automatic locking rear ends. They are a very capable truck. Plenty of power and plenty of upgrades to them. Check out ZR2usa.com and ZR2.com and you'll see what I mean.

I would say off-roading with a toy would be the way to go. I have seen to many times that bigger trucks mean bigger bucks or even better bigger trucks mean bigger stucks. I have played with both and just like the toyota's better.

I drive a full size GMC and love it, but it is a very personnel choice. One thing to share. The special Forces guys in Afganastan are using Toyota's and love them. That is a pretty strong endorsment.

Its not what you buy its what u build.Everybody has there own needs and opinions it all goes down to the driver,for instance you can give the worst driver the best 4x4, and the best driver the worst 4x4 and the better drivers gona make it futher.Take jeep for instance every body brags em up but if you take any capable jeep they have non jeep axles,non jeep trannys,or motors and so on,they were built not bought,i personally think jeeps are way overated i had a 97 tj and broke every moving part on it,motor,rearend,tranny 5spd,transfer case and much more.Now i drive fullsizes only! and hardy ever brake somin,but anybody can build a strong jeep theres just a little more involved you practically have to replace everything but the body,same with all new 4x4's now a day's manufatures make them for the highway not offroad,I prefer old school fullsizes hands down if you can afford the gas

My projects a 77 k5 blazer and im a chevy fan but as far a newer blazer's wheel very gently! My girlfriend has a 99 blazer with only 235's on it and i completley blew the front end apart and i was not being hard on it at all,Next time shell wait till im done buildin mine lol,But ask anybody that know's anything about offroad and they will tell you stay clear of grocery geting indepent front suspension,no matter what make of rig hummer,chevy,ford whatever there not gona hold up.

I use a 1990 Montero for going offroad around here it does great in the river bottoms because it's so light. I've gotten it through mudholes that the full size trucks just sink in

I wheel an 07 Nissan Frontier CC 4x4 with the Nismo package. and an 07 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4x4. Neither of which are mall crawlers. I like the technical trails that require 4lo and lockers. I would have to say that the small off road rigs are the best for what I do. This would include most Jeeps, and small trucks. I am not a big fan of mud so I wouldn't be able to say what works best there. Over all, a small rig works best on trails due to it's size and turning radius. There are a number of trails that I have done that are a little too tight for a fullsize truck.

I wheel a 96 Dodge Ram 1500 sport ,with full skyjacker suspension 2" of lift ,33" mudders ,other than that no mods and I keep up with vehicles of all sizes and with mods that cost more than my whole truck......but as far as vehicles as a whole,Id pick a solid axel vehicle over IFS any day of the week ,I dont care how much flex you get out of it.
