aight guys my big block 85 chevy smokes on start-up(typical valve seal problem)but also when is warmed up to opperating condition starts to smoke out the passenger side exhaust only. other side is crystal clear. hasnt always done this.as soon as the oil pressure drops to around 40 is when it starts. im kinda hopeing it could be the valve seals causing this too.i was thinking rings kinda wear evenly so hopefully it isnt that.also kinda hard to start when hot starters not lagging and ive got a big phenolic spacer so an help with my problems would be appriciated.

You might check for a dirty engine with plugged up oil return hole in passenger side head. It would explain it smoking when it runs for a bit. I had this happen to me once about 30 years ago.
