Hey everyone. I'm looking at puting some steel rock crawler wheels on my truck. I want the stance on the truck to be a bit wider than stock. What backspacing do I need to order my wheels so the stance becomes wider.
Ive got a 1980 toyota pickup. thanks drew

Less backspacing equals wider stance and less tire under the wheel wells.

Wider spacing also weaken axles load capacity as it places more leverage/strain on axles and front spindles and knuckles which many do not realize.
