i rebuilt an 87 k10 and im running 20x12 inch rims on 35s..the problem i got is the rear end is shorter than the front and im trying to get the same width...the easiest way to do would be wheel spacers but ive just heard bad things about them...is thier any other solution to my problem.. is thier maybe another rear that would fit but still be wider  

Unless you swapped rear axles there is not much difference between them and I certainly would not worry about it at all.
