im thinking about buying an 85 gmc fullsize pickup long bed standard cab. the truck has 14 inches of suspension lift on it. the truck is built like a tank, the only problem is you have no turning radius going right...left is ok but right is terrable. someone said something about cross over stering. is there a kit out there for it? the tires are 38.5 x 15 x 15

go to www.offroadunlimited.com and at the top of the page go to chevy/gmc tab and go down.
something you might check is if the pitman arm is installed correctly with the tires straight forward the pitman should point to the rear and not at a angle

I wouldn't buy it. You would be buying someone else's problem. Wait and buy a truck that is built correctly.

Hi, I have problems making right turns also. My future solution is to get a 2wd steering box, and passenger side dana 60 steering arm (mounts on the knuckle), remove my anti-sway bar, and build a tie-rod, connect and go. I don't know myself but I am going to start with that and see how my truck handles. Sometimes my front wheels will woble also!!!
